Intellectual Property & Complaints
Webba respects intellectual-property rights and expects sellers to do the same. If you believe a domain listing on Webba infringes a trademark, copyright, or other right you hold, you can report it to us using the process below. Webba is a marketplace, not a court: we can review reports and remove or restrict listings, but we do not decide the legal merits of a trademark or ownership dispute.
How to submit a complaint
Email hello@webba.com with:
- the exact domain name and listing you are reporting;
- the right you rely on (for example, a registered trademark number, or the work you own) and evidence of it;
- an explanation of why you believe the listing infringes that right;
- your name, organization, and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized, and that the information in your report is accurate; and
- confirmation you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
What we do with a complaint
We review complaints that contain the information above. Where a complaint appears well-founded, we may remove or restrict the listing and notify the seller. We may share your complaint with the seller so they can respond. Where a report is incomplete or appears to be an ordinary commercial dispute rather than clear infringement, we may ask for more information or decline to act, and we may direct the parties to resolve the matter between themselves or through the domain’s registrar or the applicable dispute-resolution process (such as the UDRP for domain-name trademark disputes). ⚖ Legal review recommended: whether a formal DMCA agent/registration and a defined counter-notice procedure are appropriate for your jurisdiction and content type.
Counter-notice
A seller whose listing was removed may respond to hello@webba.com explaining why they believe the listing does not infringe. We may reinstate a listing where a response reasonably resolves the concern.
Repeat infringers and misuse
We may suspend sellers who repeatedly list infringing domains, and we may decline to act on, or restrict, complaints that are abusive, fraudulent, or used to harass a competitor. Submitting a knowingly false complaint may itself violate our Terms.
