How buying works

Every name on Webba is bought the same way: through Escrow.com, with the domain in your account before the seller is paid.

  1. Ask, or make an offer. Every name's page has three buttons: request the price, make an offer, or ask a question. A person replies, by email, phone or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer.
  2. Agree the price. The price and the terms are agreed in writing before anything is paid. Webba charges the buyer no marketplace fee.
  3. Pay into Escrow.com. You pay the agreed price to Escrow.com, an independent escrow service, which holds it. Webba never holds your money. The escrow fee is paid by the seller under the current arrangement, so you pay the agreed price and nothing more.
  4. The domain moves to you. Once your payment is secured, the domain is transferred into your own registrar account. Transfer in 1–5 days. We handle the auth code and the registrar push.
  5. Check it, then accept. You have an inspection period to confirm the domain is in an account you control. When you accept, Escrow.com releases the payment to the seller and the sale is complete.

100% Money Back Guarantee

If you pay for a domain sold on Webba and do not receive it, you get your money back: the full purchase price you paid. Where Escrow.com returns your funds under its process, that is how the refund is made; if for any reason it does not, Webba refunds the purchase price to you itself. Once the domain is in your account and the sale has closed, the sale is final.

After it is yours

The domain renews every year at your registrar’s ordinary fee, which you pay from then on. Turn on auto-renew, and two-factor sign-in on the registrar account.
